Connect with MCP Inspector

  1. Open MCP Inspector.
  2. Select Streamable HTTP and use Inspector’s proxy.
  3. Enter this server’s address with /mcp at the end. For the default local setup: http://127.0.0.1:3000/mcp.
  4. Connect, open Tools, and select scan_website.

To inspect the saved reports, stop this server and start it from the project folder with:

SCANNER_MODE=replay npm run dev

Why the endpoint shows “Use POST”

A browser opens links with GET requests. MCP clients send protocol requests using POST. Opening /mcp directly will show a protocol error; use Inspector to call the tool.
